Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

After intro videos, pressing space to connect to the online services kicks me out with a "CHARLIE-03" error, and the following screen.

Major changes haven't happened to the system from the last time the game ran properly.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Hit play in steam, skip intro videos.
  2. hit space on character select screen to connect.
  3. encounter that screen, with game exiting after hitting confirm.
