Steps to reproduce:

1/ Add a video to your account via Youtube
2/ Go to your community profile on Steam
3/ Go to videos
4/ Try to play any video
5/ For a few seconds, you can hear sound and Youtube player trying to load
6/ Steam crashes

I was really suprised, when I saw, that Steam client on 64bit can play flash video from Youtube - but only for a few seconds.

Do you have vdpau enabled? Flash crashes for me all the time as soon as flash uses acceleration.
I don't think this is a Steam bug because it happens with Firefox and Chromium as well. But they got a plugin container at least. Afaik Steam doesn't.

Not that I wish to hijack thread, but I have the same issue ‐ and I do not have Flash installed, if that helps the bug report.

I tried STEAM_RUNTIME=0 steam:

Video don't work ("browser don't support html5"), but Steam won't crash

What is vdpau and where I can check it?

You both have the same crash - illegal instruction. And you both have AMD cpus. One of you using AuthenticAMD family 16 model 5 stepping 3, the other using AuthenticAMD family 18 model 1 stepping 0. I think we may be compiling this library (libcef) incorrectly, checking into that now.
