Would you produce the output from steam when it crashes (run steam in terminal, run game, copy all the output into a gist), and provide your System Information from Steam so we can look at your last crashids.

Okay, first the hardware information:

Later(today evening i think), i post in this issue another gist with the output of the console when steam crash.
Okay, here it is:

I replace my accountname with for security reason, i hope this is okay :P
Should I provide some log/system information as well or do you (debuggers/coders) have enough information?
I think we have enough information. The crash is in OpenAL, not Steam code, so it's not something we can address directly.
I'm having the same issue. The Steam client crashes then the game eventually disconnects and shows the "Disconnected" message within CS:S. The main CS:S window doesn't quit, just the currently playing instance or server connection.
Is there anything else I can provide to help get this issue looked at?
Here's my system configuration: http://pastehtml.com/view/cx4hxjobm.html
This is probably the same issue as #1853 and should be fixed now. Is this still active?
No, I haven't heard of a single person that has had this issue since the fix came out, me included.
So yeah, it's safe to close this one I reckon.
Thanks, closing.
Nothing extracted yet.
When i speak ingame with the voice then after 4 or 5 times steam crashes. Yes, not the game, Steam. The game lag for ca. 6 seconds, then i can't hear my teammates anymore. After ca. 1 or 2 minutes the game completly crashes.
When i click after the lag(When steam is crashed) on "Disconnect" then the game don't response and i need to kill it(kill )
