Steam voice test works fine. I can hear myself clearly but when I try to talk ingame, nobody can hear me.

Mumble and Audacity works fine.

I don't know if there is any relevance but I have another issue where mic works in my system (Arch Linux 64 bit), I can hear feedback from my speakers, but doesn't work in Steam at all, not even in mic testing. That is described in #3407. I wonder if there may be any connection?
