Steam client version (build number or date): (in a game in BP - will update)
Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): Debian Testing
Opted into Steam client beta?: [Yes/No] Yes
Have you checked for system updates?: [Yes/No] Yes
Additionally, I should mention that I am using PulseAudio running at 48KHz sample rate, rather 44.1
If it matters (it absolutely should not), I am using JACK as the actual sound server - pulse is just there as a jack client for compatibility reasons.
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
Frequently, the music player does not produce any audio, and instead the shuttle just flies through the track - effectively skipping it. This either happens for all music, or no music at all (e.g. it has nothing to do with individual files). I have on at least one occasion caused this to happen by scrolling through my music library quite rapidly, which resulted in the BP overlay becoming unable to play samples; however, I have observed this unprovoked as well.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Have music
Get lucky
