My Steam client just downloaded the latest update and on close, it tired to apply the patch. I guess something did not go as planned, because after running Steam again I got the same thing. Taking a look at the console log, I found something about a symlink error, but not much else. So I ran again and this time the system froze and turned off. After reboot, I can no longer run Steam because steam.sh as well as most of the library and binary files in ubuntu12_32 are truncated to 0 bytes!
a) Is there anything else I can provide to make this report more useful?
b) What steps do you suggest for me to get back a working Steam installation? I would prefer not to re-download everything...
