Statistics will be much useful if Valve add "Linux only" filter, so game developers could see which hardware is most popular on Linux-desktop.
E.g there is topic about native Linux version of Wargame EE and one of developers ask people to post their hw/distro on forum.
Right now nobody know what is average hardware of Linux user and every developer need to determine that by himself.
Good information about HW will make porting of games much easier.
