Your system information

  • Steam Version 1.0.0.75-2
  • Distribution: Manjaro 22.0.55 64-Bit
  • Opted into Steam client beta?: No
  • Have you checked for system updates?: Yes

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I launch the Binding of Isaac. The usual behavior should be: it launches when a controller is connected and I can play. If I launch the binding of Isaac without any controller connected, it launches normally. As soon as I connect a controller to it, it crashes. The game has worked normally a few days earlier. No system changes were made.

The log is cluttered with many different errors, I will post around the point where the game crashes.

Hello @lvlanson, we're tracking issues with games run with Proton in the Proton issue tracker. Also, we're using one issue report per unofficially supported game title.

Usually I'd transfer this issue report to https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/4868, but this specific feedback is a duplicate of the most recent comment on that compatibility report (https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/4868#issuecomment-1483034971) with more details in the older comment.

Closing as a duplicate of https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/4868#issuecomment-1483034971.
