Steam client version (build number or date): 1687386907
Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): Kubuntu 22.04
Opted into Steam client beta?: No
Have you checked for system updates?: Yes
GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080Ti
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
Sometimes steam client main window does not remember its last size and position after restart. The main window is always positioned at the center of the screen, with the size of 1320x840 (see the screenshot).
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Start Steam client with -forcedesktopscaling 2 parameter in the command line.
Re-position and resize the main window.
Restart Steam client, again with -forcedesktopscaling 2 parameter in the command line.
It does not always reproduce. Notice on the screenshot in the bottom it says "No connection", although it normally says "Manage Downloads". Despite that "No connection" label, the client did log into my account and displayed my username at the top. The client did not show any errors during startup.
Sometimes the client does start with the main window preserving the past size and position. In those times, it says "Manage Downloads" in the bottom.
