The working version I test with is 2.5.1, though a newer release may also work, I am yet to test.
Hi there and thank you for the report. Are you able to make a apitrace?
Hi there and thank you for the report. Are you able to make a apitrace?
I'll make one soon, was in a bit of a rush when making the report so I omitted it for now.
Also the Windows and 32-bit labels can be added.
Attempting to use apitrace causes an access violation in ntdll for me for some reason. It crashes so early that Windows doesn't even get the chance to jump to the game's entry point.
I'll try to give it a go when I have time
i got it working through the apitrace exe, i have no idea why the dlls didn't work

Thank you. I have bisected the issue to start with commit https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/commit/59826f3412a9e45eb502ce2c8800345a694c937d
Facing this issue as well. Shadows appear and disappear quickly like flickering with dxvk. Doesn't happen with dgvoodoo2 though.
This should be fixed in semi recent builds of DXVK.
just verified the fix in game using the latest Actions build, it is indeed fixed
Fantastic! will wait for the full release. The game is alive once again with xbox 360 stuff 4.0
Nothing extracted yet.
Software information
The game is Need for Speed Most Wanted with Xbox 360 Stuff 4.0 installed. As of a few versions ago, various shadows would randomly disappear when you're in particular points in the world (mainly around Rosewood). This doesn't occur when running in native DX9 on Windows or with an older version of DXVK.
