  Just updated Proton Experimental and can confirm that the issue is fixed. Input continues working even after changing out and into the game window.

  Alright, I suppose it was worth a try. For a bit more context, my issue with PC2 was on Windows 8.1.

  I just tried it on my Windows installation and I can not reproduce it there. The issue is only present on Proton it seems.

  If you happen to have a Windows installation, can you reproduce this issue in Windows on the same hardware? I'm asking because when I played Project CARS 2 on Windows I've had the same issue, and it carried over to Linux...
