Symptoms

During the title screen, Dead by Daylight crashes without any error/system message being displayed. I have tried using Proton Hotfix, Experimental, and version 11, yet the result is the same.

Reproduction

1. Steam Library > Locate "Dead by Daylight", and right click it > Properties
2. Compatibility > Select "Proton Hotfix", and check the box for "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool"
3. Hit the Play button, and allow the game to load
4. Reach the title screen, and observe the game crashing
