Honestly both annoying and shameful that

1. https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/12132 this has been ignored for over a year(its an issue much older than the post)

and 2) steam lacks a simple right click > add to start menu option, like it does for adding to desktop.

The first issue forces me to re-install a dozen games just because I re-installed my O.S. and verifying integrity of files does nothing.

The second is mostly an annoyance, but I'm very surprised how this is missing outside of when you install a game/program. Why can't there be an option elsewhere?
