I'd like to share this issue as I'm playing WoW using Steam and Proton. I'm unable to key bind in the game following keys :
Here is the identification of the problematic keys with evtest tool :
KEY_LEFTALT + KEY_2
KEY_GRAVE
Keys are recognized by the computer, but when I try to bind the keys on the game, the game doesn't apply the bind. If I load a profile with an already bound key (like copying the game from windows to linux), the key doesn't work as well.
